These terms apply when you request or purchase a website repair or related service from Arvinify Website Rescue. By sending us a request, you agree to these terms.
The service
Website Rescue provides targeted repairs to existing websites. A standard rescue covers a small, clearly scoped issue or a few closely related issues. Larger or more complex work is scoped and priced separately before it begins.
Scope and pricing
We reproduce and diagnose the reported issue before committing to a fix. If the work is larger than a standard rescue, we provide a defined scope and price for you to approve before we do any additional work. You are never charged for scope you did not agree to. Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars unless stated otherwise.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about the problem and the website
- Provide the access needed to reproduce and fix the issue
- Confirm you are authorized to request changes to the website
- Keep your own backups; we work carefully but you are responsible for your site's data
What we do and do not promise
We aim to complete many small repairs quickly, often within 24 hours after access and scope are confirmed, but timelines depend on complexity and access, so we do not guarantee a specific completion time unless we state one in writing for your job. Some issues cannot be responsibly fixed without larger changes; where that is the case, we will tell you rather than apply a risky quick fix.
Reviews and acceptance
Where practical, you review the completed work before final acceptance. If something in the agreed scope is not working as described, we will put it right.
Payment
Payment terms are confirmed with your quote. Standard rescues are billed at the flat rate shown at the time of purchase.
Liability
We provide the service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, Arvinify is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for a given job is limited to the amount you paid for that job.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you submit a request applies to that request.
