MirrorLux Support
Everything you need to get started, fix a problem, or reach a real person. Most questions are answered below.
Getting started
MirrorLux works the moment you open it, no setup required.
- Open MirrorLux. If this is the first launch, allow camera access when prompted, the mirror view needs it to show your reflection.
- Use the three tone dots at the bottom of the screen to switch between Warm, Neutral and Cool Edge Light.
- Drag the zoom slider to get closer to a specific area without losing focus.
- Tap the freeze icon to hold the current frame, then tap again to return to live view.
That's the entire app. There are no accounts to create and nothing to configure before you start.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the screen black or showing no reflection?
This almost always means camera access hasn't been granted. Go to iPhone Settings → MirrorLux and make sure Camera is turned on.
Does MirrorLux need an internet connection?
No. MirrorLux works fully offline, including Edge Light, zoom, and Freeze Frame.
Do I need to create an account?
No. MirrorLux has no accounts, no sign-in, and no login screen of any kind.
Is MirrorLux a subscription?
No. MirrorLux has no subscriptions or recurring charges.
Does MirrorLux save my photos or video anywhere?
No. MirrorLux does not record, save, or upload anything during normal mirror use. Nothing you see in the mirror is stored.
Troubleshooting
The image looks dim or grainy. Try switching to Cool tone Edge Light, and make sure nothing is covering the camera lens or the edges of the screen.
Zoom feels laggy or stutters. Close other apps running in the background, then relaunch MirrorLux. This is almost always a temporary memory issue, not a MirrorLux bug.
Freeze Frame won't unfreeze. Tap the freeze icon a second time. If the app appears stuck entirely, close it fully from the app switcher and reopen it.
Camera permission was denied by accident. Open iPhone Settings → MirrorLux → Camera and enable access, then relaunch the app.
If none of the above resolves the issue, please contact support with your iPhone model and iOS version so we can help faster.
How to restore purchases
MirrorLux currently has no paid in-app purchases or subscriptions, so there is nothing to restore. If a future update introduces optional purchases, a Restore Purchases option will be added to the app's settings, and this page will be updated with the exact steps.
Compatibility
MirrorLux is built for iPhone and supports current iPhone models running a supported version of iOS. The exact minimum iOS version and supported devices are listed on the MirrorLux App Store product page before you download.
MirrorLux requires camera access to function, since the mirror view is built from your device's live camera feed.
Privacy summary
MirrorLux does not collect, store, or upload photos, video, or personal data during normal use, and does not require an account. For the complete policy, see the MirrorLux Privacy Policy.
