Using Age Calculator
How do I calculate an age?
In Calculate, tap Date of birth and choose a date. The initial January 1, 2000 date is an example; replace it with the date you want to calculate. Turn off Calculate as of today to choose a different reference date. A reference date before the birth date displays a validation message.
How do I save, open or delete a birthday?
Scroll down on Calculate and tap Save birthday, enter a name, then tap Save. Open People to see saved birthdays ordered by the next birthday. Tap a person to calculate their age today. Swipe left on a row and tap Delete, or use Edit. Deleting a saved birthday cannot be undone in the app.
How are February 29 birthdays handled?
In Settings, choose February 28 or March 1 for the countdown in non-leap years. In leap years, the birthday remains February 29. This preference changes the countdown; the age calculation uses Gregorian calendar components.
Why can the result differ from another calculator?
The app compares Gregorian calendar dates, not elapsed seconds or birth times. Total days are civil days so daylight-saving changes do not add or remove a day. Years, months and days follow the calendar, including month-end behavior. The app is a general-purpose date utility, not a determination of legal age or eligibility.
Where are my birthdays stored?
Names and birthdays are stored in the app on your device. There is no app account or developer-run cloud sync. Device backups may include app data. If a storage error occurs, keep the app installed and contact support; uninstalling the app removes its local data.
Does it send birthday reminders?
Yes. Save a birthday, open Settings, enable Birthday reminders and allow notifications. Choose your preferred time. Use Send a test reminder to check delivery. Reminders follow iPhone notification and Focus settings; open the app regularly and after travel to refresh scheduling. February 29 follows your selected preference. There is no home-screen widget.
Is there a subscription?
No. The paid App Store download includes the features in version 1.0, with no in-app purchases or subscription. Apple handles the purchase, redownloads and refunds. See Apple's refund help for billing requests.
How does sharing work?
Share my numbers opens the system share sheet with your calculated age and milestone. Nothing is sent automatically. You choose a destination and complete sharing yourself; that destination's privacy practices apply.
